Crooner Michael Richard Kelly in Gatsby’s Pub

Michael Richard Kelly has been singing professionally for almost 45 years. He started performing in regional dinner theaters, and eventually performed in the Broadway spoof, Forbidden Broadway in Philadelphia at The Bellevue-Stratford. He has performed in “Fran Charnas’s The All Night Strut”, a 30s & 40s review, and has performed it in Atlantic City, Philadelphia, Detroit, Denver, Cleveland, Los Angeles, and Europe including The Casino De Monte Carlo in Monaco. He has also performed in “Forever Plaid” as Frankie.

He started doing cabaret shows at Odette’s in New Hope, PA in 1987, has received Philadelphia Magazine’s “Best of Philly®-1996” for Cabaret Act, and has done a number of cabaret shows at Don’t Tell Mama in New York City.

Michael was the co-owner and the entertainment director of the award winning Dino’s Backstage and The Celebrity Room in Glenside, PA. He currently has two albums available online: “The Judy Garland Songbook” contains music from her movies, and concerts, and “The Snow Show” is a holiday musical greeting card performed with his friend, Paula Johns. BOTH of the albums were recordings of two cabaret shows that he performed at Dino’s Backstage.
