About The Ultra Kings:
The Ultra Kings are a roots-based band known for their Rockabilly style of music of the early 50’s. The band is a trio with Rick Kuebler on lead vocals and guitar, he is known for his guitar riffs on one of his many Gretsch guitars and then jumping to one of his Telecaster guitars. Rick has been on the music scene throughout his life and started The Ultra Kings in 2000. Carl Ehst has been the drummer of The Ultra Kings since the band originated. He sings back up vocals and continues to pound out the rhythm throughout each show. On the stand-up bass and backup vocals is Rich Freese who has been playing with the Ultra Kings for many years. He continues to show off his stellar bass skills and continues to be an integral part of the band. Their music continues to appeal to all ages and continue to be in demand playing throughout the year.The band has 5 CD’s they produced, have played in The Netherlands two times, major music festivals such as Musikfest, Central Pa ArtsFestival, Mayfair, have played at many of the car culture shows such as Gasket Goons, Mobtown Grease Ball, Heavy Rebel Weekender and Hot Rod Hoe Down from back in the day. Over the years they have played at fun events such as The Blob Ball in Phoenixville, Pa., Gas House Dance Hall, Wine and Beer Festivals and many more.
